Once the vehicle is set in motion (starting at approximately 1.2 mph)- the alert produces a unique tone. During acceleration- the tone fades out near 12.4 mph. When decelerating- the tone turns on at around 11.1 mph. The alert automatically activates in both Drive and Reverse.
